Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-The Vocational Program of Surabaya State University is designated as the recipient of government assistance in the Competency and Professional Certification Program of Vocational Students in 2021. The good news was contained in the official announcement of the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Culture dated April 23, 2021 and signed by the Director of Vocational and Professional Higher Education, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, ST., MT.
In addition to Unesa, there are 45 other universities that also received assistance from the program. Once determined, furthermore, between Unesa as the Vocational Education Provider College and the Directorate of Vocational and Professional Higher Education will sign a cooperation contract.
In addition, Unesa Vocational Program is also trusted as a companion of Vocational High School (SMK) in East Java through the Decree of the Director General of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture on the Determination of Universities as Implementers of Vocational High School Program Assistance Center of Excellence in 2021 signed by the Director General of Vocational Education, Wikan Sakarinto, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D.
As a companion, Vokasi Unesa got several tasks. First, the implementation of coordination with the technical implementation unit of the Directorate General of Vocational Education, other universities, provincial education offices, and related agencies.
Second, mentoring the fulfillment of eight national standards of education and the implementation of link and match with the world of work. Third, facilitation and training of in-house training to principals and teachers in vocational schools implementing the Smk Pusat pusat program of excellence, as well as school supervisors.
Fourth, facilitation of community-based learning implementation to principals and teachers in vocational schools implementing the Central Vocational School Program of excellence, as well as school supervisors. Fifth, the mentoring of the principal in smk implementing the Smk Pusat Keunggulan Program in the preparation of planning, management, and development of vocational schools.
Sixth, assistance in the use of technology for principals and teachers in vocational schools implementing the Smk Pusat Keunggulan Program. Seventh, the preparation, monitoring, evaluation, and implementation of follow-up learning achievements in vocational school implementing the Smk Pusat Keunggulan Program.
These two tasks and trusts are a form of effort and quality of Unesa Vocational Program in providing the best for the community and the country. Vokasi Unesa is devoted to the state. Unesa is one step ahead. (Pr. Unesa)
