Unesa.ac.id,Surabaya - Universitas Negeri Surabaya won two awards in the field of performance accountability in the awarding ceremony of Kemdikbud Award to the Work Unit / Work Unit with Budget Performance and the Best Sakip in Fiscal Year 2020 which was held virtually on the Youtube channel of the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (23/2).
In this event, Unesa won two awards at once. First, Unesa became the best in the category of SAKIP for State Universities incorporated (PTN-BH) and State Universities Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) with a total score of 81.90 followed by Gajah Mada University with a score of 81.76 and Yogyakarta State University with a total of 81.76 points. Unesa also ranked second in the Category of Budget Performance Value (NKA) of State Universities incorporated (PTN-BH) and State Universities of Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) with a total value of 98.70. For the first place occupied Sebelas Maret University with a total of 98.84 points while the third occupied Riau University with a total of 98.44 points
Responding to two awards at once received by Unesa, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes, Rector, was happy and proud. He said this victory will be a dampener on Unesa's spirit to continuously improve the quality.
"This is certainly not only good news for the entire academic community but also a new energy for us to continuously improve the performance of the institution", he explained excitedly.
Related to this award category, Nurhasan said that in Unesa performance accountability is a goal that is always pursued.
"The commitment is even written in the mission of Unesa. As an educational institution we are obliged to implement Tridharma college. But we as part of the government institutions, our goal is also to implement a transparent and accountable pamong system so as to ensure the quality and improve the quality of institutions", he explained
In this event, the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makariem also appreciated the performance of all Unit Units in his Ministry.
"The achievements that we achieved in 2020, should be a reminder for all of us to continue to improve the governance of education and culture that is participatory, transparent and accountable as written in our strategic planning document" said Nadiem.
On this good occasion, I would like to appreciate all parties in the ministry of education to ensure that quality programs are carried out properly and maintain and allocate budgets to support kemdikbud priority policies.
SAKIP award in kemdikbud environment is an annual agenda as an effort to make government agencies accountable so that they can run efficiently, effectively and responsive to the aspirations of the community and the environment, the realization of the transformation of government agencies, the realization of community participation in the implementation of national development, maintained public trust in the government.
