Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA—The leadership of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) welcomed the visiting team from Sebelas Maret University (UNS) and Tanjungpura University (Untan ) Pontianak who carried out benchmarking of the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program in the 9th Floor Auditorium, LPSP Building, Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Thursday, 22 February 2024.
The UNS delegation of 11 people was led by the Dean of the Teaching Faculty and Education Sciences (FKIP), Prof. Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., while the Untan group of 16 people was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Dr. Ahmad Yani T, M.Pd.
Head of the UNESA PPG Center, Drs. Fatkur Rohman Kafrawi, M.Pd., said that the visit from the two campuses was in order to discuss and gain important information regarding PPG research and learning.
“The focus of this meeting includes cooperation related to the exchange of lecturers, tutors, teachers PPG, research and community service, as well as the creation of scientific journals for PPG students, lecturers and civil service teachers," he explained.
Each of these topics, he continued, will be the basis for strong and sustainable cooperation between UNESA and related parties.
The discussion was then divided into four groups consisting of representatives from each university. Topics discussed include academic research and development, PPL, integrated data and information center, education quality assurance and financial management.
In this activity, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) were also signed. MoA) with UNS and Untan. Fatkur Rohman said that after this a small team would be formed to create academic texts as PPG learning innovations.
"In the near future, small teams will intensively work together to prepare academic texts related to PPG learning innovations. . "The hope is that this team can produce scientific journal writing products which can later make a positive contribution to the development of PPG," said Fatkur.
This activity was attended by the Deputy Chancellor for Law, Management, Finance, Resources and Business, Dr. . H. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd., as well as the PPG team and LPSP UNESA leaders.[]
