Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-In the meeting of the State Education Higher Education Leadership Forum (FPPTKN) which took place from 3-5 June 2021 at the Indonesian Education University, Bandung, UNESA in addition to discussing Vocational Optimization at LPTKNI, was also involved in a discussion group discussing 'Optimizing Independent Learning for Independent Campuses'.
In the parallel discussion group, UNESA shared the same room with Jakarta State University and Makassar State University. The team from UNESA involved in the discussion of the theme, namely the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Unesa. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd and Dr. Bachtiar S Bachri, M.Pd Head of LP3 UNESA and special staff.
Some of the crucial issues discussed were the credit conversion system, including internship credits, off campus, and KKN. From these discussions, it is hoped that the proposed conversion policy standards will be produced at the ministry so that there are mutually agreed standards in the future. In addition, it also discussed optimizing cross-college collaboration and about student understanding of learning outcomes and student decisions when taking credits outside the study program or campus.
The LPTKN association has a strong first step in implementing MBKM, because the MoU between the Chancellors and the MoA between the associations of deans have been carried out previously. So, it remains to be implemented between study programs in each university. "We from UNESA certainly hope that the formulations, proposals and strategic schemes produced in this forum can be immediately followed up by regulation to optimize MBKM in the future," said Prof. Bambang. "Whatever we produce in this forum is certainly the best for optimizing the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education in each LPTKN and at Unesa," he hoped. (Unesa Public Relations)
