Uneca.ac.id, SURABAYA--Students of the Informatics Engineering Education study program, Faculty of Engineering, UNESA held a national webinar on Multimedia Compression on Wednesday (29/12/2021). This activity was initiated by the 2018 class of students and is part of the Multimedia Present Compression Engineering course program.
Setya Chandra Wibawa, S.Pd., M.T., a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, said that multimedia compression is a scientific discipline that can be applied to all aspects of life. According to him, the science of multimedia compression can bring great benefits.
One of them is presenting innovative technology products that are able to answer problems more efficiently and effectively. "The students of the Informatics Engineering (IT) UNESA study program have been equipped with knowledge and skills competencies that can give birth to future innovation products," he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Edy Sulistyo, M.Pd., said that the theme of this webinar is very relevant to the latest dynamics and challenges of DUDI (business and industry). This can be a means of forming student's employee ability skills which can be a qualified provision before students can go directly to a career.
The various disciplines studied, such as the topic of today's webinar, can be oriented as an effort to improve student competence, especially in solving complex problems, including using technology.
