Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya-Nagoya University Program for Academic Exchange (NUPACE) is a short-term student exchange program launched in 1996. International students enrolled in partner institutions of Nagoya University are given the opportunity to study in Japan for four to twelve months.
UNESA as one of Nagoya University's partners, since 1996 has consistently sent its students to study at one of the best campuses in Japan. Head of the UNESA International Affairs Office, Asrori, M.Pd said the NUPACE program aims to establish friendship, internationalization through education, and motivate overseas students to continue their studies in Japan.
He continued that the NUPACE program will run from September to August 2022. Students are offered a choice of two admission periods, namely in late September or early April. There are three students majoring in English who have the opportunity in the program.
NUPACE provides many benefits for both UNESA and students. Besides being able to study and network with universities and students abroad, especially Japan, they also gain knowledge about the development of science, language and culture in Japan.
“This program (NUPACE, ed) is a golden opportunity and opportunity. For students who want to apply for the following year, prepare yourself as best you can. Meet the main requirements needed, namely the TOEFL/IELTS score. Don't forget to keep updating information through the UNESA international department and web office," said Asrori.
He congratulated the students who passed. The result is the result of hard work and effort of each. "Do your best and learn as much knowledge and experience as possible there," he added.
Cynthia Lailanisa Soegiono, one of the students who was accepted into the program said that being able to pass the program did require a struggle. He had prepared himself as well as possible so that the results were sweet.
"Thank you to UNESA and the lecturers who have always encouraged and guided me to get to this stage and I will make the most of this opportunity," said the student of English Literature study program. (Wulida/zam)
