Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–In order to promote the campus and its advantages, Surabaya State University (UNESA) participated in the Khadijah High School Edu Fair on Thursday, 19 October 2023. This activity, which was attended by grade 10-12 students, was carried out in the field Khadijah High School Surabaya.
The socialization activities and campus exhibition with the theme "Let's Dream Big" present 19 state and private universities spread across Indonesia, even abroad.
Luluk Zakiyah, S. Psi., as the chief executive, said that the theme was taken with the hope that Khadijah High School students would have big dreams to achieve their goals in the future. He added that this activity is a school program to support students who will continue their education at tertiary institutions.
"From Guidance Counseling (BK), we have a career guidance program so that students can consult regarding education at tertiary institutions, activities today is one of the implementations. "The aim is for students to get to know universities better, both state and private," said the guidance and counseling teacher.
He added that this year's Edu Fair is different because it can bring in state universities, including UNESA. "We hope that students will eventually be able to plan their strategy for going to college well," he hoped.
This socialization activity was attended by the UNESA Director of Public Relations and Information team. Apart from socialization, UNESA also enlivened the campus exhibition which was held in the Khadijah High School field along with other campuses. The students looked enthusiastic when visiting UNESA's campus stand.

Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A., Director of Public Relations and Public Information at UNESA was also present at this activity and conveyed about the study programs and advantages of the campus with the tagline "One Step Ahead".
"At UNESA, there are not only education study programs, but also a lot of pure science. This is something that other campuses don't have. "Apart from that, UNESA also has advantages in the fields of languages, arts and sports," he said.
He added, UNESA has just opened new study programs, such as Political Science, Data Science and Sports Management which immediately received a lot of interest. from students. The data obtained shows that Khadijah High School is one of the schools that contributes many alumni to UNESA.
"With the increasing number of people interested in us, we hope that more Khadijah High School students will be able to continue their education at UNESA," he hoped. .[]
