Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya- Continuing to study at the master's level is one of the expectations of scholars, but not all can make it happen because of cost constraints. For graduates of State University of Surabaya (UNESA) do not need to worry, because UNESA opens the opportunity to continue studying to the master level (S-2) for free through the Fresh graduate Scholarship program at the Selection of New Student Admissions Academic Year 2021/2022 Master Program Postgraduate UNESA. The good news was stated in the official announcement of unesa postgraduate signed by the Director of Postgraduate, Dr. EdyMintarto, M.Kes., on March 1, 2021.
The provisions of the Freshgraduate Scholarship. First, applicants are graduates of S-1 all study programs at UNESA (unesa graduates who are 97th, 98th, and 99th) with cumlaude predicate. Second, enroll in one of the master's courses organized by Postgraduate Unesa. Third, scholarships in the form of single tuition fees (UKT) for four semesters. If the study period exceeds four semesters, it is mandatory to pay the UKT itself in accordance with applicable regulations. Fourth, able to complete the study until graduation.
For those who are interested, pay close attention to the registration steps. First, pay the registration fee for new students of S-2 Postgraduate UNESA at Bank BNI 46 (billing code 14) to obtain the parent number for the online registration process on the https://sipenmaru.unesa.ac.id page with the status of S-2 Freshgraduate Scholarship applicant. For registration fee only Rp 200.000. That amount is much more affordable than the cost of registering a regular line.
Step two, fill out the registration form in full and upload portfolio documents; copies of diplomas and transcripts of legalized S-1 grades along with proof of accreditation from BAN-PT, copies of scientific works that have been published, evidence of scientific activities that have been followed, or academic achievements ever achieved, if any. Furthermore, there is a letter of recommendation from two former lecturers who know the academic ability and personality of applicants. Then include a copy of proof of English proficiency in the form of TOEFL/IELTS/TOEIC/TEP. Finally, create a research design for the thesis that contains research problems, objectives, and research methods in 5-7 pages.
The registration schedule is also worth noting, for registration and upload of portfolio documents starting from March 1, 2021 to April 30, 2021. Portfolio assessment from May 1-8, 2021. Announcement on May 11, 2021 and registration is open from May 12-31, 2021.
The master's studies that can be selected according to the interests of applicants are available 15 courses. There are S-2 Mathematics Education, S-2 Science Education, S-2 Sports Education, S-2 Education Management, and S-2 Basic Education. In addition, there are also S-2 Cultural Arts Education, S-2 Social Science Education, S-2 Vocational Technology Education, S-2 Educational Technology, and S-2 Outstanding Education.
