Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The leadership of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) flew to Papua to monitor the last days of the XX Papua PON 2021 and at the same time attend the closing of the sports week.
The leaders who attended were UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., Vice Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance Suprapto, S.Pd., M.T., and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr. Agus Hariyanto, M.Kes,. They departed from Surabaya on October 12, 2021.
Arriving at the location, the leaders met with UNESA athletes who competed there. In addition, as the General Chair of PASI East Java, Prof. Nurhasan, M.Kes on October 14, 2021, witnessed the match live and met with athletes under the auspices of PASI East Java.
In the last days of the sports week, three PASI athletes contributed three gold medals for East Java. For information, while the medal standings, East Java is still stuck in second place by collecting as many as 276 medals; 108 gold, 87 silver and 81 bronze.
