Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—A total of 1,552 Surabaya State University (UNESA) students successfully completed their studies and underwent the inauguration procession at the 111th Graduation Ceremony at the Applied Bachelor's, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral levels at GRAHA UNESA Campus II Lidah Wetan, Surabaya on Tuesday, August 20 2024.< /p>
This graduation carries the theme "UNESA Graduates Ready to Accelerate Progress, Realize Glory, Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045" which is based on the commitment of UNESA PTNBH (Legal Incorporated State Universities) in contributing to building the nation.
The Chancellor of UNESA, Nurhasan or Cak Hasan, said that the future situation is increasingly uncertain, changes are occurring rapidly, and competition is high. For this reason, the 'Home of Champions' campus continues to strengthen graduates with a tough, adaptive, growth mindset, and innovative mentality.
The sports science professor emphasized that there are at least four abilities needed to respond to change and that is part of what UNESA provides to each of its graduates.
UNESA Chancellor Cak Hasan advised students not to stop learning and always strengthen their abilities as important capital to face the challenges ahead.
First, character and integrity. Second, learning agility or the ability to learn and adapt. Third, be collaborative and respect differences. Fourth, have the mentality of a true leader, who not only leads yourself, but also those around you towards change and goodness.
"UNESA strives to be an agent of change for the problems faced by the Indonesian nation "Students and graduates must also bring change wherever they are. Continue to study. Maintain the good name of your alma mater and always be successful in your work and career," said Cak Hasan Best
At this graduation period with beautiful numbers, UNESA gave awards and appreciation in the form of education savings to the best graduates at all levels. They are referred to as follows. First, Cindy Octavia, Bachelor of Education Management, GPA 3.95. Second, Ghina Zhavira, Bachelor of Fine Arts Education, GPA 3.94.
UNESA leadership gave awards and appreciation to the best graduates from various faculties. Some were even offered scholarships to continue studying at UNESA.
Third, Anggita Auni, Bachelor of Mathematics Education, GPA 3.96. Fourth, Dewi Widya Ningrum, Bachelor of Public Administration Science, GPA 3.93. Fifth, Rayyan Nur Fauzan, Bachelor of Information Engineering, GPA 3.89. Sixth, Nabila Rizky Amanda Mochtarom, Bachelor of Economics Education, GPA 3.97. Seventh, Talisa Fasya Laksita Putri, D-4 Fashion Design, GPA 3.97.
Eighth, Cicilya Deristarini, Bachelor of Psychology, GPA 3.94. Ninth, Graciela Natasha Tessalonica L, Bachelor of Laws, GPA 3.74. Tenth, Rokerjai Insaiyah, Bachelor's Degree in Sports Coaching Education, GPA 3.91. Eleventh, Kartika Rinakit Adhe, Doctoral Degree in Basic Education, GPA 4.00. Twelfth, Leni Dwi Septiany, Master of Science Education-GPA 4.00.
Representing the graduates, Nabila Rizky Amanda Mochtarom expressed her infinite gratitude to parents and families, lecturers and UNESA leaders who accompanied and guided the students to be able to wear a proud toga and hold a title.
This graduation is also a momentum for the campus with the tagline
“All This is thanks to the patience of the lecturers who steadfastly guide and accompany them. Without the lecturer's patience, we would not have arrived at this happy day. "Thank you also to the parents and guardians of students, and friends who provided continuous support, so that we can all graduate today," he said.
At the momentum of this graduation, UNESA signed an MoU on cooperation with a number of partners, including, Balikpapan University, National Environmental Professional and Certification Institute, Swiss-Belinn Airport Surabaya. []
