Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—UNESA FC is back on the field, this time against the Teachers' Community in Driyorejo, Gresik. The match took place at the Surabaya State University (UNESA) Football Field, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya on Wednesday afternoon, 29 November 2023.
UNESA FC, which was strengthened by the Director of Unesa Labschool, Prof. Dr. Sujarwanto M.Pd., brought 30 players consisting of lecturers and staff. This team managed to score five goals, while the opponent was only able to score one goal. Thus, UNESA FC won the match with a final score of 5-1.
Prof Sujarwanto said that this activity aims to maintain the fitness of lecturers and employees, but can also have a positive impact on their performance. Apart from that, this activity also aims to strengthen relations between UNESA lecturers and employees and teachers in Driyorejo, Gresik.
Furthermore, he added that this activity is also part of Unesa's outreach efforts. "UNESA's advantage is sport, so this is through the sport of football so that Unesa becomes more known to the public, seen by the public," he said.
He hopes that through this activity, the public will get to know UNESA better and give confidence to UNESA, as well as the best sons and daughters in Gresik to continue their education high at UNESA.
Regarding the next match schedule, Prof. Sujarwanto said, "It is planned that on Saturday we will fight against one of the communities in Malang. "Sunday morning, we went straight to Brawijaya State University," he said.[]
