Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) warmly welcomed the staff of Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), Purwokerto who carried out institutional benchmarking related to improving Key Performance Indicators (IKU) at the Lidah Wetan Campus 2 Rectorate Building, on Friday, 18 October 2024.
Setiyabudi, Head of the Bureau of Planning, Cooperation, Information and Public Relations, Unsoed said that the main purpose of his group's visit to UNESA was to exchange experiences and knowledge regarding strategies for increasing IKU achievements.
By holding discussions and collaboration between the two institutions, it is hoped that Unsoed can implement various good practices that have been implemented by UNESA in improving the quality and performance of its IKU.

Meaning and The Unsoed group's goal was welcomed by the UNESA leadership. Martadi, Deputy Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation and Information and Communication Technology, emphasized the importance of focus and commitment in achieving the IKU target, which cannot be done half-heartedly.
To ensure the achievement of these targets, he added, every aspect must be monitored and evaluated regularly. The lecturer at the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) emphasized the commitment of not only the leadership, but also all work units within the university, including lecturers, to work together to achieve IKU Plus, namely increasing performance beyond predetermined standards.

In running strategy to achieve IKU, every faculty that is lagging behind will be immediately assisted through strategic steps by internal university parties, including through intensive evaluation and coordination.
Appreciation is also an important aspect in maintaining team motivation and performance, both in the form of awards and welfare programs for those who contribute to achieving targets.
