Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA - The leadership of Surabaya State University (Unesa) welcomed the visit of the Australian Consulate General (Konjen) in Surabaya on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the 801 Meeting Room, 8th floor of the UNESA Rectorate, Campus 2 of the Tongue of Wetan Surabaya.
Dwi Cahyo Kartiko, Deputy Chancellor IV for Planning, Development, Cooperation, and Information and Communication Technology Unesa said, this meeting was very important for Unesa, especially in strengthening international relations and cooperation.
Professor of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK) added that this meeting was in order to discuss a sustainable collaboration program in the field of education.

In this program, UNESA sent 4 lecturers to teach at the Western Sydney University campus in Surabaya. In fact, in the near future, Unesa will receive Edith Cowan University's visit on February 21, 2025 to discuss the double degrees .

Glen Askew, Consul General Australia In Surabaya, conveying the purpose of this visit in order to discuss various programs that can be cooperated in a sustainable manner between Unesa and the government and partners in Australia.
He added, his party wanted to recognize Unesa closer and what programs could be collaborated. For this reason, this meeting will be followed up to discuss practical activities that bring benefits to both Indonesian and Australian relations as well as for Unesa and partners or the Australian government.
"We visited several universities including UNESA, because we were looking for opportunities for cooperation that could be done especially in the realm of education, such as interns and teaching in Australian schools that Unesa had done before," he said.
