Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—The opportunity to enter state universities or PTNs is still wide open. The reason is, one of the PTNs such as Surabaya State University (UNESA) is still opening registration for the independent pathway or SPMB.
The independent pathway that can be chosen at UNESA is TMUBK or Computer Based UNESA Entrance Test which opened the second wave of registration on Saturday, 13 July 2024 to 23 July 2024.
Head of Sub-Directorate for Student Admissions and Graduation Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., explained that this pathway selection was based on computer-based test results. The test is carried out in the Computer Laboratory at the Rectorate and Faculty of Medicine.
According to Sukarmin, this route will be an area of intense competition, because it is the last route or opportunity to enter UNESA this period. "This last pathway is open to all study programs," he said.
Sukarmin said that applicants for this pathway must be mature in preparing for the test and correct in choosing a study program in order to pass the selection. Apart from being able to choose study programs that already exist in various faculties, you can also choose new UNESA study programs.
"This new study program has quite a big opportunity for participants to enter UNESA," said Sukarmin. The new study programs that participants can choose from the independent pathway or SPMB 2024 are as follows:
- Bachelor of International Relations Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol)
- Prodi D-4 Automotive Engineering Technology, Vocational Faculty
- Undergraduate Actuarial Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA)
- Undergraduate Massage Study Program, Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences ( FIKK)
- Bachelor of Regional and Urban Planning Study Program, Faculty of Engineering (FT)
- Bachelor of Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine (FK)
- S Study Program -1 Midwifery, Faculty of Medicine (FK)
- S-1 Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine (FK)
Apart from that, there are also a number of study programs located in UNESA Campus 5 Magetan includes, 1) English Literature Undergraduate Study Program, 2) Cosmetology Education Undergraduate Study Program, 2) Mathematics Education Undergraduate Study Program.
Several study programs received overflow quotas from Camaba who did not re-register on the previous SNBT or independent route. The quota is added to this last route. The study programs are: Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Education, D4 of Public Administration, Bachelor of English Education, Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Education.
"The study programs mentioned have a high chance of passing at UNESA. I hope, "participants prepare themselves and hopefully this final path will bring the students into the big UNESA family this year," said Sukarmin.[*]
