Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA - The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) received a visit from SMK Negeri 3 Batu on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. The group from SMK Negeri 3 Batu, arrived at the Rector's Lobby, Lidah Wetan Campus at 09.30 WIB, which was then directed to the BAKPK Meeting Room, Rectorate Building Floor 2, Wetan Tongue Campus, Surabaya.
Representatives from SMK Negeri 3 Batu were attended by Ary Agung Wibowo, S.Sn., Slamet Achwandi, S.Kom, Diyah Dewi Gayatri, S.I.Kom, Dian Wahyuning A, S.Kom, along with 2 students namely Septian Diva Putra and Dentra Dharma Galih P Meanwhile, UNESA was attended by Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A., and Gilang Gusti Aji, S.T.P., M.Sc., from the Communication Studies study program.
In addition, there is also Moh. Ariffudin Islam, S.Sn., M.Sn., Marsudi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Kanya Catya, S.T., M.A., as representatives of the Visual Communication Design Study Program (DKV) and representatives from Kece Media.
Dian Wahyuning A, S. Kom, one of the teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Batu, revealed that the purpose of the visit, apart from gathering, was to deepen information regarding what readiness is needed or what considerations must be made in transitioning one of the majors in SMK Negeri 3 Batu, namely from multimedia which will be transformed into DKV. In addition, it also discussed future cooperation plans.
Marsudi, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the Head of the DKV Study Program also welcomed the visit. "It has been reviewed and here we do not change the substance. Then, we also give an example for IA, namely curriculum development. Every implementation is made by IA, because IA shows that it has been implemented. In 1 PKS, there can be several IAs according to the points of cooperation," he explained.
Ary Agung Wibowo, S.Sn., one of the teachers of SMKN 3 Batu also said that the development of the independent curriculum implemented in his school was in phase F. He also expressed his desire to make a campus visit to UNESA.
"We also hope that the field work practice program (PKL) which will be held later around November or December for the next 6 months can be carried out at the UNESA Media Center," said Diyah Dewi Gayatri, S.I.Kom.
Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A. The Head of Public Relations of UNESA., said that regarding the plan, UNESA welcomed and supported it. Therefore, the school can send an official letter to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. "I want some study programs or majors to be planned to be adjusted in advance according to needs," he said.
"Regarding the plan from SMKN 3 Batu, of course we welcome it and will strive to fulfill and arrange shifts as needed.
