Unesa.ac.id. , SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) through the Directorate of Law, Management and Bureaucratic Reform held a Socialization on Archives Management with the theme "Digitalization of Archives for Management Efficiency and Service Acceleration" on Wednesday, September 25 2024 at the 11th Floor Auditorium, Lidah Wetan Campus II .
This activity presented a resource person, Sudarma, who is an expert in digital archival services from Padjadjaran University (Unpad) who is also an intermediate expert archivist. This event was attended by work unit officials, archivists, and archive managers throughout the University.
The Head of Sub-Directorate for Management, Protocol and Archives, Naili Rahmah, explained the aim of this socialization to provide understanding and increase competence regarding digitizing archives for efficiency management and acceleration of services in the digital era.
"Through this activity, we hope to increase understanding and competence in digitizing archives, so that management becomes more efficient and services at UNESA can be faster and more precise," he said.< /p>

In the current industrial era, digital archive management methods continue to develop rapidly, which is marked by the emergence of various applications in the archives sector such as E-office.

Director of Legal, Management and Bureaucratic Reform , Sulaksono emphasized the importance of these activities to encourage the transformation of higher education services.
Sudarma appreciates archive management in the campus of the Home of the Champions. According to him, the archive management methods at UNESA are good, both digital and manual. Moreover, digitally, which is implemented through an archive management program application.
