Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–In preparation for the opening of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya (Uinsa) benchmarked the Faculty of Medicine (FK) at UNESA on Monday, 09 October 2023. They were welcomed by the FK leadership in the Meeting Room, Floor 2 , FK Building, on Monday, October 9 2023.
In front of the Uinsa team consisting of 10 people, the Dean of FK, Dr. Dr. Endang Sri Wahjuni, M. Kes., said that FK UNESA's journey to finally being able to accept new students was quite long.
"UNESA has actually been preparing for years. Starting from the main facilities such as buildings for academic activities, laboratories and so on. Therefore, it will be reviewed starting from the Ministry of Health, KKI and LAM-PTKes," he said.
< p>Apart from that, various collaborations must also be carried out, especially with several regional hospitals, because this is part of the conditions that must be met. UNESA, he continued, is collaborating with RSUD BDH Surabaya to RSUD in Magetan.

"We have prepared around 12 main FK laboratories. Everything must be there, including human resources and lecturers. Everything requires a gradual process and preparation," he explained.
Head of assistance for accelerated preparation FK Uinsa, Dr. Ali Mustofa, M.Pd. explained that the campus was in the process of establishing a FK, and chose to visit FK UNESA to prepare for the opening of the faculty.
"FK UNESA has just been established, so this is the right time for us to visit, because automatically there are lots of twists and turns and a long process "What we have gone through will provide input for preparing FK Uinsa candidates," he explained.
This activity was attended by the ranks of the FK Uinsa acceleration team and the leadership, lecturers from UNESA. []
