Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-A number of students and teachers of MAN 5 Jombang visited the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) on Monday, February 21, 2022. The group was welcomed by the Head of the UNESA Admissions Unit, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., Head of the PMB Division, Awang Dharmawan, S.I.Kom., M.A., and Head of Public Relations, Vinda Maya S, Sos., M.A., at the 11th Floor Auditorium of the Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus on Monday, February 21, 2022.
The head of MAN 5 Jombang, Drs. Ahmad Muzakir, M.Pd explained that the purpose of the visit was to stay in touch and get to know UNESA more closely, especially regarding study programs, lectures and the admissions route for new students. "I have received many requests from students to visit here (UNESA, ed), thank God, now they are fulfilled," he said.
He added that the interest of his students to study in higher education was very high. Some of them want to join UNESA. "Therefore, so that students get clear references and information, can ask questions and see firsthand the atmosphere of the campus, we made this visit. Thank you for accepting UNESA. Hopefully this will be a motivation for students to prepare themselves and follow the new student admissions path," he said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sukarmin M.Pd, Head of the Unesa Admissions Unit said that a visit to campus was indeed very important and his party supported such a step for the school. Schools can get information directly from the campus regarding study programs, admission routes, including scholarships and the atmosphere of the lectures. "There are a lot of confusing news out there about new student admissions. If you come here, the information is clear, teachers and students can ask questions directly," he explained.
He explained that the new student admissions paths at UNESA were SNMPTN, SBMPTN and SPMB or Mandiri. Then, UNESA has 7 faculties and vocational programs. There is the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) which houses 9 study programs. Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) which houses 8 study programs.

Then, the Faculty of Engineering which has 13 study programs. Faculty of Education (FIP) which has 8 study programs. Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) which houses 14 study programs. Faculty of Sports Science (FIO) which houses 3 study programs. And, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) which has 9 study programs.
