Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—The East Java Indonesian Student Sports Development Agency (BAPOMI) held a coordination meeting for the preparation of the East Java contingent at the 3rd Floor Auditorium, Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK), Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya on Thursday , (26/10/2023).
The meeting which was attended by the East Java BAPOMI management discussed various programs including preparations for holding the XVIII National Student Sports Week (Pomnas) in South Kalimantan next November.
< p>This activity was opened by the Dean of FIKK, Dr. Dwi Cahyo Kartiko, S.Pd., M.Kes. He said that, it is an honor for us to host, and hopes that his influence will be felt in East Java and shine when participating in Pomnas in Banjarmasin."Once again, welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the FIKK Campus "We, which we are proud of as the 'Home of Champions', a campus full of innovation," he said.
General Chairman of Bapomi East Java, Prof. Dr. Madlazim, M.Si., expressed his thanks to the management for holding the meeting. He also thanked all the coaches who had worked hard and went through the selection process. East Java has participated in all sports in Pomnas.
"There is support from the governor. In the near future, please prepare a Training Center (TC) for each sport. "Because this is a very proud thing for our university," he said.
In the TC plan presentation session, Dr. Imam Hariadi, M. Kes. and Indra Himawan Susanto S.Or M.Kes., explained that there are several things that need to be considered, namely paying attention to the contingent structure.
Even though the structure is stable, there are still several notes and changes that need to be paid attention to. Regarding the explanation of the contingent's departure plan, it was delivered by Ayu Asma S.Pd., M.Pd.
The purpose of this contribution meeting was a series of preparations for the East Java contingent at Pomnas in Banjarmasin. To ensure preparations go well and thoroughly, they focus on departure preparations and other preparations.
At this event were all Bapomi administrators, higher education leaders, both from PTN and PTS throughout East Java, as well as officials and manager of the East Java Pomnas team.
“Of the 16 sports, East Java's target is to become the overall champion and win as many gold medals as possible. "From UNESA we hope to be able to contribute many medals to East Java," said Deputy Secretary of Bapomi East Java, Indra Himawan Susanto. []
