Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA--Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Surabaya State University (UNESA), Diana Rahmasari was elected as chairman of the LPTK Psychology Association or APsi LPTK for the 2024-2026 period. He is trusted to lead APsi LPTK based on the results of the agreement at the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) which took place in Jakarta, on September 21 2024.
Diana Rahmasari expressed her thanks to all levels or parties within Apsi LPTK who came from a number of campuses of Educational Personnel Education Institutions which have psychology study programs or faculties.
These campuses include; Jakarta State University (UNJ), Manado State University (Unima), Surabaya State University (UNESA), Yogyakarta State University (UNY), Gorontalo State University (UNG), Semarang State University (Unnes).
In addition that, also Padang State University (UNP), Makassar State University (UNM), and Indonesian Education University (UPI). "This is a big mandate that must be carried out meaningfully and have an impact on both the organization and society," he said.
The Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, UNESA, added that apart from being the chairman of the APsi LPTK, he is also trusted to be the Deputy Chairman of the Psychology Association Positive East Java (AP2I East Java) for the period 2024-2028. APSI is one of the associations under the Indonesian Psychological Association (HIMPSI).
With this task, there are several things to do in the future, namely designing programs that encourage improving the quality of research, policy advocacy, and establishing networks strong cooperation in the field of psychology.
Apart from that, it is also necessary to increase activities aimed at strengthening human resources in the field of psychology, encouraging the publication of research results in reputable journals, as well as establishing cooperation with various related parties, at home and abroad.
"Of course there are many programs that can be formulated based on future needs and challenges. Our task in the field of psychology cannot be separated from responding to the psychological challenges experienced by society and the younger generation of the digital era which is also a concern, " he said.[]
