Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Establish cooperation in various fields, Singapore International School (SIS) Group of Schools signed a memorandum of understanding with Surabaya State University (UNESA) online on Friday, 8 July 2022.
Vice Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd., said that the education process in higher education encourages students to continue to develop themselves optimally in terms of knowledge, attitudes, and skills.
As an LPTK, UNESA is not only responsible for producing competent graduates, but is also obliged to prepare them to become professionals in their respective fields, education and non-education.
So one way to maximize the achievement of mastery in question is through the introduction of the school field (PLP) which allows to help build the quality of skills, knowledge, and attitudes to the fullest.
In line with this reference, UNESA cooperates with SIS to commit to each other in cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service.
Through PLP students are expected to have initial experience to build the basic foundation for knowing the identity of educators, emphasizing strengthening competencies according to the field of study, developing learning tools and skills in building educational expertise.
The same thing was conveyed by Luqman Kautsar Sutanto, Senior Manager of Human Resources at SIS. Opportunities for collaboration with UNESA in various fields, especially education, are a form of SIS's commitment to the world of education in Indonesia and Singapore.
SIS, he continued, is here not only to educate, but to focus more on creating superior seeds or quality human resources and making future leaders for Indonesia more secure. "Hopefully this cooperation can last in the long term and develop into other fields," he hoped. [UNESA PR]
