Computer-Based Writing Examination for State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (UTBK-SBMPTN) began to be held on 12-18 April 2021 for the first wave and 26 April-02 May 2021 for the second batch.
Chairman of the UBTK Unesa Admissions Unit Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd said, ahead of the implementation of the test, Surabaya State University had finalized all matters and coordinated with related parties, such as coordination with the Surabaya City Covid-19 Task Force to ensure the program during UTBK.
In addition, coordinating with PLN to ensure electricity remains safe during UTBK, with TELKOM so that the network remains smooth and stable during the test, and coordinating with TNI-POLRI to ensure safety and smooth traffic around the test location. "For all things, the most important thing is for the prokes we have arranged all the flow and schemes," he said at the Unesa Rectorate on Friday (9/4/2021).
Exam location in Unesa
Sukarmin added, UTBK in Unesa was held in three different locations. The total number of UTBK rooms in Unesa is 36 rooms filled with 50 percent of participants from normal conditions. The locations for the exam in Unesa are:
Unesa Lidah Wetan Campus, Lakarsantri District, Surabaya.
Unesa Ketintang Campus, Gayungan District, Surabaya.
Partner campus, at Unusa Campus B, Jalan Raya Jemursari No. 51-57 Surabaya.
What Participants Must Prepare
Apart from paying attention to the exam location, continued Sukarmin, there are several preparations that the participants really need to pay attention to, namely:
Participants check the exam location online, can be accessed through the website www.unesa.ac.id and Unesa's official social media in the form of a google map link, barcode, and floor plan.
Be at the exam location approximately 45 minutes before the start of the exam session. Try not to be late.
Bringing UTBK-SBMPTN 2021 Participant Identity Card.
Bring a photocopy of a certificate that is legalized for 2019 and 2020 graduates or a certificate of being in class XIII for 2021 graduates from the school principal, containing the name of the student, student's NISN, School NPSN and a photo and affixed with the school stamp and signature of the principal.
Bring the necessary supplies or stationery.
Dress neatly, politely and with shoes.
Try breakfast first at their respective residences or eat sahur if it's UTBK during Ramadan.
Occupying seats according to their respective table numbers.
Write the participant's name and number on the opaque paper provided and sign it.
Prokes for participants at UTBK locations
Must wear a medical mask, gloves, and bring a hand sanitizer. For those who don't bring them, you can use the hand sanitizer provided at the exam location.
Checking body temperature, if the temperature is above 37 degrees Celsius, participants are not allowed to take the exam and are welcome to go to a special room provided by the committee and will be followed up by the medical team at the location.
Always maintain a safe distance when outside the exam room or inside the exam room.
Mobility at the test site, participants must follow the directions provided. The system is one way to avoid crowds or physical contact between participants.
Conditions for Participants with Disabilities
In general, the preparation for participants with disabilities was almost the same as for participants in general, starting from the equipment they brought and the prokes.
Allowed to be accompanied by family to the front of the exam room. However, when in the exam room, participants with disabilities are only accompanied by special committees or volunteers. Meanwhile, the family can wait outside the room or in the space provided by the committee.
Special devices are prepared for participants with disabilities that are tailored to the needs of each participant.
The location of the UBTK for participants with disabilities in Unesa is in the Lidah Wetan Unesa Rectorate Building.
UTBK for participants with disabilities is held on the 7th session or on the 4th day of the first wave.
Transfer Provisions
Introductors for the exam are not allowed to wait around the exam location to avoid crowds.
Deliverers can only lowered participants and are not allowed to park around the exam location.
Participants who bring their own two-wheeled vehicles are required to park in the parking zone that has been provided around the test location.
Sukarmin appealed to all participants and introducers to comply with health protocols. "Once again, don't underestimate it and everyone must obey the health program so that we are all safe and healthy," he said.
