Unesa.ac.id Surabaya - The Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) of Unesa held a Workshop on the Compilation of Community Service Proposals (PKM) for the 2019 DRPM Funding with theme & ldquo; Quality Improvement and Quantity of Community Service in the Framework of Science and Technology Downstreaming & rdquo ; (10/4). The activity that was carried out in the 6th floor Auditorium of the Lidah Wetan Campus Rectorate Building presented speakers from Sebelas Maret University Surakarta Prof. Dr. Okid Parama Astirin M.S.
This activity was attended by the Chairperson of LPPM Unesa Prof. Dr. Darni M.Hum. Secretary of LPPM Dr. Oce Wiriawan M. Kes. Head of the Center for PKM and Science and Technology Marketing Dr. Nurkholis M.Pd. and was followed by representatives of Unesa environment faculty lecturers.
In his remarks Nurkholis hoped that this activity could improve the quality and quantity of community service by the lecturers in Unesa. Meanwhile in his presentation Okid stated that the research proposal and community service were different. For this reason lecturers who wish to make service proposals are expected to first carry out case studies to related locations before appointing them into proposals so that the basis for making proposals is stronger. So that the proposal submitted could pass the administration he also advised to submit a multi-sector proposal. "Of the proposals submitted for community service it should be multi-sectoral it will later pass the administration & rdquo; he said. (ay)
