Unesa.ac.id & ndash; Surabaya Today (15/7) Unesa holds the opening of the Institutional Strengthening Program for International Affairs Office (PKKUI) on the 11th floor of the Auditorium of the Rectorate Building. In this activity Dr. Sujarwanto M.Pd. (Deputy Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation) Lina Purwaning Hartanti M.Eil. (Representative from Unesa) Evi Eliyanah Ph.D. (representative of Malang State University) and Dwi Nita Aryani Ph.D. (representative of STIE Malangkucecwara). Participants involved were not only from the three universities mentioned above but there were also lecturers and students from Thailand (Yala Rajabhat University and Rajamanggala University of Technology Krungthep) and the Philippines (Mariano Marcos State University).
Programs designed in the form of Project Based Learning (PBL) with the theme Gender Equality : Strengthening the Support System for Migrant Workers & rsquo; Families in Indonesia. This program is a form of collaboration with Malang State University (UM) and STIE Malangkucecwara (MCE).
The program is planned to last for approximately 10 days starting from the 14th to the second. 24 July 2019 is a form of short program designed as a general course with a multidisciplinary approach for participants to learn about problems among migrant worker families and a series of actions taken to overcome them. Each topic is designed in the form of Project Based Learning (PBL) where participants will learn through cases and experience directly with people from different backgrounds. It is hoped that this program will improve cross-cultural knowledge insights and skills as well as socializing skills with the community (for participants).
Not only at Unesa this activity will also take place at the Faculty of Social Sciences Building I1 Floor 7 UM Kartini Hall Purwodadi Hamlet Donomulyo District and at STIE Malangkucecwara. (ay)
