The excitement of foreign students' activities with UNESA Labschool students
"We deliberately programmed this, so that there would be discussion and sharing between overseas students and teachers and students. The children were happy to be able to "chatting directly with foreign students can also practice your English skills," said the professor at the Faculty of Education (FIP).
Added by Prof. Jar (his nickname), schools have taught many foreign language subjects, such as English, for example, since elementary school. So, the lesson material must be balanced with the practice of speaking directly with native speakers.
The opportunity for direct learning or direct practice is provided through exchange programs or bringing in foreign students at the school. That way, students can gain a lot of insight into culture and education in other countries.
"Foreign students are happy, especially the children or students are also very happy. They become more confident, their insight develops , so you know about other countries, other countries' cultures and so on," he said.
With this intensive international program, Prof. Jar hopes that students will be mentally and capablely ready to be actively involved in various international activities, and can even continue their studies abroad.
"We start with the transformation of Labschool from human resources, teachers and students so that they have world-class insight and standards of work and learning. Of course this is gradual and sustainable," he said.()
