Isaac Munandar, CEO and Co-Founder of MAXY Academy explained the program scheme that students can take advantage of through the MBKM scheme.
Unesa. ac.id., SURABAYA–In the MBKM Basic Training by the Subdirectorate of Student Exchange and Academic Mobility (PMMA), UNESA's Directorate of Educational Transformation and Learning Technology on Friday, August 9 2024 presented Isaac Munandar, CEO and Co-Founder of MAXY Academy, as a resource person.
To MBKM students, Isaac Munandar emphasized the importance of career development in the digital era and entrepreneurship which continues to grow. "We came from this MKBM program by helping friends in digital and entrepreneurial careers," he said.
He said, MAXY Academy supports students to be ready to compete in an increasingly dynamic and technology-oriented world of work. MAXY Academy has designed a curriculum that is responsive to changing skill needs in the world of work.
Isaac explained that rapid technological developments have resulted in rapid changes in adapting to address skill needs. "We divide it into two skill sections, namely technical skills and soft skills," said Isaac.
Technical skills include specific abilities related to technology and tools used in industry, such as programming and design, while soft skills include the interpersonal and managerial abilities needed to succeed in the modern work environment.
Isaac Munandar also explained their goal of preparing a superior MBKM program that students can take advantage of, one of which is preparing students who have the skillsets needed this century.
Not only Meanwhile, Isaac also introduced MAXY Academy's flagship program, namely the digital career bootcamp and entrepreneurship program. digital career bootcamp offers four types of classes that are relevant to current industry needs, namely backend developer, frontend developer, ui/ux designer, and digital marketing.
This program is designed to equip students with specific technical skills, which are much needed in the digital world. Apart from that, the Entrepreneurship Program is provided for students who are interested in exploring entrepreneurship.
The program provides practical knowledge and support to develop business ideas, including the opportunity to obtain further funding for potential businesses. "Here students can also get further funding for the businesses we want to develop," added Isaac.
This training was attended by hundreds of enthusiastic UNESA students to gain new insights on how to prepare themselves for future careers. They gain a deeper understanding of the importance of independent study in honing the skills needed in the world of work and becoming individuals who are ready to face global challenges.
This MKBM basic training is part of UNESA's efforts to support the Independent Campus Learning policy. (MBKM) which was promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. With training like this, it is hoped that students can be more independent and innovative in developing their careers in the future.[]
