Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Organization and Student Affairs Management (Ormawa) ranging from BEM, MPM to UKM UNESA for the 2022 period were officially inaugurated by the Chancellor of the State University of Surabaya on Wednesday (19/1/2022) on the 11th Floor, UNESA Rectorate Building, Lidah Wetan Campus. The event was attended by the Chancellor of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., and the ranks of vice chancellors, deans, deputy deans, heads of institutions, SME supervisors and other officials around UNESA.
The inauguration ceremony began with the reading of the official UNESA Ormawa Decree for the 2022 period, then continued with the reading of the oath led by Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., followed by the participants. The oath contained the commitment of the management in carrying out the responsibilities of the UNESA BEM, DPM and UKM management in the future.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes., invited all participants of the ceremony who were present to carry out the inauguration series this morning happily, so that their immunity was always maintained. The man who is usually called Cak Hasan conveyed his pride for all students selected to be institutional partners, ready to maintain UNESA's reputation and prestige and encourage UNESA to continue to excel.
He hopes for the strong UNESA ormawa demisionaries to work together to support UNESA which will become a Legal Entity University. "In this pandemic era, UNESA student leaders must be tough, not arrogant, not easily discouraged and complain. Together we can work together with UNESA one step ahead, for Indonesia to progress," he said.
In this difficult era, many challenges and many new things, the Chancellor invited the UNESA academic community to remain strong, creative and work. "Let's remind each other and pray that the UNESA academic community will be adaptive in the pandemic era, era 5.0 and the era of transformation," he said.
At the end of the mandate, the Chancellor of UNESA advised the management to prepare ministers for certain fields that would assist institutions in preventing and overcoming drugs, sexual violence and radicalism. "Students and organizational leaders must be able to coordinate with the ranks of the vice chancellor of the third field to prevent and overcome things that can tarnish the name of the alma mater," he said.
