On that occasion, Nadi Suprapto explained his superior research and innovations in recent years. One of them is ethnophysics, which is an approach to learning physics that combines physics concepts with local wisdom.
Through virtual reality (VR) technology, students can learn physics in a more interesting and in-depth way in an unconventional way . For example, with VR cow racing, students can understand the concepts of force, motion and energy visually and interactively.
"This idea emerged from the principle of glocalization of education, from global to local or from local to global With this innovation, we are synergizing local wisdom, physics concepts in an effort to support UNESA's excellence in sports, arts and disabilities," he said.
Aside from VR, cattle racing. , the young UNESA professor has also developed VR lato-lato and VR rolling barrels which were immediately demonstrated in front of the examining team. In the future, he plans to develop VR for various other traditional games, such as engklek and gasing, and adapt them to the advantages of each region.
Apart from that, he has also succeeded in implementing several technology-based learning programs, such as Beboo Computer Program, STEAM-based Virtual Reality (VR), and Adventuring Physics (ASICS). These programs have proven effective in increasing students' interest and understanding of physics concepts.[]
