Diving While Drinking Water: While running Sister Schools in Malaysia and Thailand, UNESA Labschool also collaborates with a number of schools.
Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—Labschool UNESA continues to show its commitment to becoming an international standard school. Apart from being actively involved in student exchange programs between countries, it also adds foreign cooperation partners.
Director of the Labschool Institute, Prof. Sujarwanto, M.Pd., explained that at the same time as the sister school program was running, Labschool collaborated with two schools in Thailand, namely Hatyaiwittayakarn School and Waraphat School.
The commitment to cooperation was marked by the signing of an MoU as well as discussing student and cultural exchange programs between UNESA Labschool and the two international schools from Thailand.
"Students who take part in this program will later learn more about the learning patterns and culture that exist in the target school environment," said the professor at the Faculty of Education (FIP).

In addition to exchange students, UNESA Labschool also opens up opportunities to send teachers as special delegates to hone English language skills through a teaching internship program later.
On the other hand, teachers at the two white elephant state schools also have the opportunity to teach and share experiences at Labschool.
After collaborating with Hatyaiwittayakarn School and Waraphat School, in November 2024 UNESA Labschool will expand its international collaboration with Labschool belonging to the University of Newcastle, Australia.
"With the internationalization of Labschool that we continue to encourage, we hope that in the future students will be better known internationally, have a more global outlook, and have international relationships," he hoped.[]
