unesa.ac.id., Surabaya - >, SURABAYA STATE UNIVERSITY (UNESA) Together with the Surabaya Football Association (Persebaya) held Sharing Session: Sports Management on Friday , February 14, 2025, in Auditorium 3rd Floor Fikk Unesa , Campus 2, Tongue Wetan.
Cooperation program unesa and Persebaya present two main speakers namely; Masany Gultom, Commissioner of Persebaya; and Cipto Prabowo Atmojo, Director of Citicon as well as sponsors of the event.
This session sharing includes the Sport Industry Management course program which is packaged in a guest lecture format, attended by S-1 Sports Management students, as well as several students from the Study Program other such as sports science, sports training, and physical education, health, and recreation.
Cahyo Kartiko expressed his hopes that students can listen and implement the knowledge gained in this activity.
"Management in the world of sports is not just a theory, but also practices that must be understood directly by students," he said.
Deputy Dean II Fikk, Taufiq Hidayat asserted that events like this can hone students' understanding of the management of the sports industry directly from practitioners who have experience in the sports industry.

In the discussion session, Masany Gultom explained the important role of solid management in the continuity of a club, ranging from business strategies, team management, to relationships with supporters which is an important asset for football clubs.
Cipto Prabowo Atmojo also highlighted its importance The involvement of sponsors in supporting the development of the sports industry. He shares his experience in building business relationships with football clubs and how sponsorship can increase the competitiveness of a team in the national and international arena. and Persebaya.
