UNESA Deputy Chancellor IV handed over certificates to 2024 Summer Camp participants.
Unesa. ac.id, SURABAYA—Surabaya State University (UNESA) held the closing ceremony for the UNESA Summer Camp activities on the 9th floor, Rectorate Building, UNESA Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, on Monday, July 15 2024.
This activity was attended by the Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Development, Cooperation, Information and Communication Technology, Dr. Martadi, M.Sn., Head of Sub-Directorate for International Affairs or International Affairs Office (KUI) UNESA, Asrori, S.S., S.Pd., and his staff.
Martadi, said that summer camp activities are an extraordinary journey full of learning, cultural exchange, and unforgettable experiences.
This activity is proof of the power of education, culture and collaboration in bringing together people from all corners of the world.
A total of 14 students from various countries on the Asian continent were involved in the activity These include 3 students from Taiwan, 3 students from Zimbabwe, 1 student from Malaysia, 2 students from Pakistan.
Next, 2 students from Indonesia, 1 student from Yemen, 1 student from Sudan, and 1 student from India. They have collaborated and embodied the true spirit of embracing every opportunity to grow, connect, and explore.
He expressed deep gratitude to the speakers, dedicated facilitators, and tireless organizers who have made this event took place.
The hard work and commitment of all parties in this Summer Camp will not only be successful but also enrich and inspire all participants.
He hopes that when the participants arrive in their respective countries can bring friendship and connection that exists in a spirit of global understanding and unity. These ties are the foundation of a more exclusive and harmonious world.

Head of Sub-Directorate of Affairs Internationally, Asrori, S.S., S.Pd., said that this Summer Camp activity is not only an academic endeavor, but also an effort to gain diverse cultural experiences, such as interesting workshop activities and creative cultural performances.
Summer Camp event coordinator, Joy Nathanael said, at this closing event participants were given the opportunity to present one of the courses or activities that they thought was the most impressive in the summer camp activities over the past 8 days.
At the end of the event, there is a selection of awardees based on various criteria. In the most disciplined team category, group 3 (Laka Pisang) won, group 2 (Loro) won the most creative team, and group 1 (Tigobse) won the best team.[]
