UNESA Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes in the briefing session of PPG participants said that this year's PPG program was implemented differently from previous years. In addition to being implemented online, it is also collaborative based.
The activity was attended by UNESA vice chancellors, LP3 leaders, and UNESA deans. In his speech, Dr. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd, the chairman of the UNESA LP3 said that as an LPTK that has a good track record in implementing the PPG program, UNESA always improves itself by perfecting the learning process based on the challenges faced so as to increase the percentage of PPG graduates from year to year.
"To achieve a good graduation, learning is not only done in a mediocre way, but also requires innovative learning models which will then increase digital literacy in the midst of a pandemic," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UNESA PPG Center, Drs. Fatkur Rohman Kafrawi, M.Pd. explained that UNESA is one of the universities trusted by the GTK Directorate to carry out the collaborative PPG program in 2021. There are several new study programs in the third phase of the PPG Daljab program in 2021, namely Shipping Engineering, Commercial Ship Services, Fishing Services, Telecommunication Engineering, Laboratory Engineering Medical, and Mandarin.
In order to improve the quality of graduates, UNESA has special treatment for participants, one of which is holding an online knowledge test exercise ahead of the real knowledge test on August 7-8, 2021. "The ministry plans that the knowledge test will be carried out offline at the nearest LPTK if there is no change in plans from the center," said Fatkur. The activity then continued with the presentation of the material by the speakers. (Nov)
