
Brian Arianto Tanuwidjaja, clash of champions participant, Ruangguru from UGM shared his experiences in a talk show session attended by hundreds of students.
Unesa.ac.id. , SURABAYA— English Week is an annual activity organized by the English Department Student Association (EDSA) of the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Surabaya State University (UNESA). This activity focuses on developing creativity and strengthening the English language competence of pupils and students.
In its 29th year, English Week which takes place on 5-6 November 2024 presents various types of competitions ranging from essay competitions, story competitions. telling, poetry, to student level debates, as well as news casting, speeches and posters which were attended by students and students.
Assyifa Putri Ramadhanty, chairman of the committee said that the number of registered participants in all competition branches reached 130 participants. The final highlight of the series of competitions was held in the T4 and T8 buildings at FBS UNESA on November 5 2024.
Apart from that, there was also a talk show with Brian Arianto Tanuwidjaja—participant of clash of champions, Ruangguru from Gadjah Mada University (UGM), which will take place on November 6 2024.
The student from the UGM Faculty of Medicine was once the recipient of a student exchange which was considered to be still linear with this event. So, in this talk show, it is hoped that Brian's presence will be able to share his inspirational experiences with participants or students.
"It is hoped that this English Week can accommodate students and high school/k level students to express themselves through English which is packaged in the form of a competition and talk shows," said Assyifa Putri Ramadhanty.
The 2022 English Language Education Study Program student hopes that this annual activity can facilitate the development of each participant's interests, talents, potential and train their skills in the field of English .
Brian Arianto Tanuwidjaja said that the activities carried out by the UNESA English Department Student Association were interesting, not only talk shows, but also competitions which were participated in by students from all over Indonesia.
On this occasion In addition, he conveyed his experience as a student, taking part in prestigious national competitions and activities. He emphasized the importance of improving every step taken, and continuing to learn to improve quality. [*]
