Unesa.ac.id. SURABAYA—Indonesian Literature Undergraduate Study Program (HMP) Student Association, Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS), Surabaya State University (UNESA) held the Color of Life of the World of Literature (Unesa) agenda at FBS UNESA Campus 2 Lidah Wetan, Surabaya on Monday—Tuesday , 2—3 December 2024.
Activities with the theme "Equality and Freedom of Self-Exploration on the Power of Imagination in Beyond Limits” involves the film community and is open to the public. This agenda consists of discussion sessions, writing exhibitions and film screenings.
This activity was opened by the Coordinator of the Indonesian Literature Undergraduate Study Program, Parmin. He said that this activity was important to revive the spirit of literacy among students. With this activity, students have space to explore themselves by creating.
According to him, this activity can also strengthen literacy at the student level. Apart from that, he also encouraged students or the community in general to diligently read books every day. It can be any book, the important thing is to be consistent.
“Starting tomorrow, schedule reading a book. "That is mandatory for students, because books are a source of knowledge or in other languages they are called windows to the world," said the Indonesian Literature lecturer.

Ahmad Raya Ghifari as chief executive WAHANA, said that this event was an effort to appreciate talented young actors or artistic activists, especially in the fields of film and writing.
"There are 20 written works were exhibited in this activity. "This paper was written by students of the Indonesian Literature Undergraduate Study Program through collection and selection," he said.
There are six films being shown including 'Ephemeral' from Kofiekom, 'Perigi' from Indonesian Literature 2022-A, 'Belingsatan' from Memorythm Production ISBI Bandung, 'Anomali' from Sindie Production, 'Behind Sastra' from Sastra Indonesia 2024-I, and 'Jungkatan' from Serambi Visual.
“We chose written works and films as the art displayed in this exhibition. Because written works such as poetry and short stories are closely related to Indonesian Literature. "In films we also relate to scripts in their writing," he explained.
In the discussion session, various students were involved and shared their views on the world of theater or acting. Like Ahmad Rifqi Syihabuddin, a student of the Indonesian Literature Bachelor's Study Program, for example, who shared his experiences about theater.
“Theatre is related to abilities or skills that are supported by knowledge. So, you have to train continuously to get better. "We have to understand, on stage there is awareness that being watched will make our body and brain not work in harmony," he said.[*]
