Unesa.ac.id., SURABAYA—The Grand Final of the 2023 UNESA Anti-Drug Ambassador Selection took place at the Auditorium, Rectorate, Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya on Saturday, November 25 2023. A total of 18 finalists entered the determining round. They are the best representatives from various faculties.
The finalists performed optimally in various assessment segments; their knowledge, communication and dedication in fighting drug abuse.
The enthusiasm of the finalists reflects UNESA's commitment to eradicating drug trafficking in the campus environment. With extraordinary enthusiasm, this event succeeded in educating and inspiring students and the public about the dangers of drugs.
The highlight of the event was marked by the announcement of the winners, where several finalists won the title of UNESA Anti-Drug Ambassador in 2023.
Director of Prevention and Management of Campus Strategic Issues, Prof. Dr. Mutimmatul Faidah, S.Ag., M.Ag., said, This activity is not only a competition event, but also a concrete step towards a campus that is free from the threat of drugs.
Grand Final Selection of UNESA Anti-Drug Ambassadors 2023 proves that efforts to prevent drug abuse can be realized through cross-sector collaboration. UNESA continues to be committed to being at the forefront in creating a healthy and drug-free campus environment.
This activity was also attended by Stafrine Jeanife Adelaine, B, S.Psi, a representative from the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) who was accompanied by Dr. Wiryo Nuryono, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Head of the UNESA Anti-Narcotics Sub-Directorate, and Dr. Aghus Sifaq, S.Or., M.Pd, as Head of the UNESA Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Sub-Directorate.
