Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-The Indonesian Language and Literature Department Student Association (HMJBSI), UNESA has again received funding for the 2022 Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa). Skills of the Sukorejo Village Community, Parengan District, Tuban".
This program opened on Thursday, July 21, 2022 and will last until November 30, 2022. Devica, the chief executive of PPK HMJBSI said that the purpose of this activity was to serve the community, especially in Sukorejo Village through the smart village program.
Smart villages are realized in various ways, one of which is through the creation of literacy corners based on the needs of the community and the potential that exists around the village.
Arik Susanti, S.Pd., M.Pd., a KDP supervisor explained that the plan was to build 5 literacy corners in the village. There is a cultural literacy corner, an entrepreneurial literacy corner, a agrarian literacy corner, a tutoring literacy corner and a spiritual literacy corner.
"The five literacy corners, if maximized, will greatly impact the community and of course will receive a nomination for the village servant by Belmawa," he explained.
Syafi'ul Anam, Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, FBS said, this activity is expected to improve the quality of students and develop soft skills in organization and Pancasila characters such as mutual cooperation, leadership and critical thinking. In his final presentation, he advised the students to really complete the program as much as possible.
“Show contribution to the village community. How can this program run according to expectations and targets can be achieved in the next few months. Build effective collaboration with local communities and village government. This is a joint work and needs to be carried out with full commitment for the progress of the village community," he said.
In addition, Halim, the village secretary expressed his gratitude to the PPK Ormawa HMJBSI team for choosing Sukorejo village as the place of this service. “We are ready to collaborate and work together to make this activity a success.
