He created Hanbok or Modern Korean typical clothes made from batik with typical archipelago motifs that were designed by themselves. He claimed to be inspired by the Changdeokgung Palace , one of the historical palaces in South Korea.
Amazingly, the motives made were directly in Solo. He combined the aesthetics of Korean culture and the wealth of traditional Indonesian motifs. Through the work, Fitri wants to say that batik does not have to be fixated on classical motifs, but can be broader, even cross -cultural.
