Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–Desy Ramadhani Maghfiroh Ayu Putri, a Visual Communication Design (DKV) student at the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) successfully flew to Turkey as Indonesia's representative in Discover Indonesia; Cultural Performance and Fashion Show held by the Indonesian Embassy in Istanbul, Turkey on November 29, 2021.
The woman who is usually called Fira, besides being successful as Indonesia's representative at the event, previously she has also often received a series of achievements in the modeling field, including the 1st winner of the Men's and Women's Fashion East Java 2021, the Fashion Ambassador for Children with Special Needs, the winner of the Favorite Boys and Girls Batik Embroidery East Java. , Champion of Hope 3 Top Model Competition and several other awards.
In addition, the girl with the life motto "keep the spirit and be confident" has repeatedly succeeded in making her name high in various national and international newspapers. Thanks to Fira, who won the 2021 East Java Putra and Putri Fashion, she was able to show her abilities in front of the Indonesian Consul General and the vice president of Turkey.
There, apart from a fashion show, Fira also performed a traditional Banyuwangi dance in front of the important guests there. "I feel proud, even though I'm deaf, but I can be an Indonesian delegate," he said. Another experience that he did not forget was when he was able to take pictures with the Indonesian Consul General in Turkey and the Vice President of Turkey. "Everyone can and I was able to get here thanks to dreams and struggles," he said.
"I get full support from my parents, friends and relatives, they always support me so that I can be like this," added the girl who was born in Surabaya, December 10, 2000. For him, the limitations that he has are not a barrier for him to continue to excel.
Currently, the 3rd semester DKV student is focused on carrying out her lecture assignments and pursuing her modeling career. As a person with a disability, Fira herself has a strong determination to continue to excel and be an inspiration to both herself and others. "Keep the spirit, do not give up let alone to despair.
