"With enthusiasm "We hope that togetherness and spiritual knowledge can become an unforgettable moment of worship in the month of Ramadan," said the lecturer whose home base is the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS).
This event was attended by Ustadz Sayyid Fadhlillah. In his sermon, he conveyed the importance of maintaining faith and piety and the need to strengthen piety through worship, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
"Taqwa comes from the word 'khosiyah' which means fear, in terms of meaning it can be expanded to piety is "carry out all orders to stay away from prohibitions, the Qur'an discusses piety, which means that truly a person who is devout is not only close to Allah, but also close to heaven," he said.
He continued, there are 4 categories in which humans are called pious people. First, Awwabin (a person who returns quickly), an awwabin is a person who is quickly motivated to return from the sin he has committed, does not fall too deep, without hesitation without thinking he quickly repents.
Secondly, hafidz, usually hafidz are It is associated with the meaning of memorizing the Qur'an, but in the rules of taqwah, a hafidz is a Muslim person who is able to protect everything that is entrusted to him. As a devout person, we are obliged to maintain our monotheism, our worship. Our form of devotion is to maintain that trust.
Third, hasyyah rahman (fear of Rahman), this is a fear that is built on love of Allah as ar-rahman (the most merciful). As a Muslim, knowing Allah is important, if indeed Allah is unseen, Allah gives guidance to His existence to His creatures, such as the existence of the earth, sky, day, night and all the signs of the universe which are proof of Allah's existence. "If we don't know Allah, it can be troublesome," he said.
Fourth, pious people always reflect, so their hearts always repent, their hearts are always open to accept the truth, so that people who have true piety great in Allah, then heaven will always await him. "Allah invites those who are pious to enter heaven. So, it is not us who reach heaven, but heaven itself comes to us," he said. []
