Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA–The State University of Surabaya (UNESA) had the opportunity to conduct a comparative study on the implementation of Teacher Professional Education (PPG) to Michigan State University, United States. The team will depart on December 5, 2021 and will carry out a Short Course at the country's research campus from December 6-8 2021.
In the departure to the USA, the UNESA team became part of the 22 delegates. The Unesa team itself consists of Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto, M.Pd as Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and their ranks, and Drs. Fatkur Rohman Kafrawi, M.Pd as the Head of the UNESA Teacher Professional Education Center and his staff.
Based on the plan, the UNESA group will also visit the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE).
In addition to America, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd., Vice Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation with Dr. H. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd., Head of LP3 will also go to Finland with the same goal, namely a short course on PPG development.
The departure of these teams is expected to get a lot of new ideas and experiences in developing the quality and quality of teacher professional education at UNESA. "Although studying and discussing there will be quite short, we are trying to maximize it," said Sujarwanto.
"Of course there are many experiences and innovations from the results of discussions with outside experts and institutions which will later become inspiration in improving the quality of education at UNESA, especially in the implementation of PPG," he said. [UNESA PR]
