While anxiety is divided into fear or fear and worry or worry. To overcome this, there are several things that can be done, such as self-adjustment, problem-solving orientation, ego defense mechanisms and so on.

Often overthinking and insecure arise from seeing other people's lives and being obsessed with being perfect in life and the drive to excel in all areas. Overthinking is usually caused by bad experiences in the past. According to him, by loving yourself, you can avoid the worst attempts to end your own life. "Self love is loving yourself by involving aspects of being aware of yourself, respecting yourself, believing and caring for yourself," he said.
Sometimes someone considers self love as narcissism and selfishness. Hera explained that of course it was different, a person who loves self is not someone who is anti-critic because he is aware of his own weaknesses and strengths. Meanwhile, narcissism is more inclined to love and admire oneself excessively which can have an impact on the emergence of a selfish attitude.
The UTM psychology lecturer revealed that there are many factors behind a person not loving themselves, including trauma due to sexual harassment or other trauma, excessive expectations of oneself and perfectionism, being trapped in a family environment or toxic relationship and obsession to meet expectations. others.
Writing is an alternative way to express overthinking, stress or insecurity and other distractions. Both, Muhammad Irsad S.Psi, M.Psi., and Dr. Hera Wahyuni, M.Psi, suggested that someone with mental health problems should write down all their worries and anxieties as well as their heart's content in a book. It can be a means of self-introspection and a mirror to find the core of the problem that must be addressed immediately.
Muhammad Irsad also revealed that when someone needs help from a professional is when they have problems with themselves and others around them. So, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, thinking positively, loving yourself and avoiding toxic environments are ways to maintain our mental health from various pressures that come. (Hasna/zam)
