Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA--A total of 34 students took part in the Advanced Student Management Skills Training (LKMM-TL) organized by the Directorate of Student and Alumni Affairs (Ditmawal) of the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) at the Luminor Hotel Sidoarjo, on 27- 29 October 2023.
Participants involved in this activity are functionaries of student organizations or ormawa who already have LKMM-TM certificates. They were directly trained and guided by presenters and resource persons who were experts from various campuses.
The main presenters were Rojil Nugroho Bayu Aji, S.Hum., M.A, and Dr. Bambang Sigit Widodo, M.Pd. Both are lecturers at the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences (FISH) UNESA.
Meanwhile, the guiding sources include; Ir. Bambang Sulistiyanto, M.Sc, Ph.D., from Diponegoro University; Dr. Ir. Budi Utomo Kukuh Widodo, M.E., from ITS; Dr. Siti Nurul Hidayati, S.Pd., M.Pd., from UNESA; and Prof. Dr. Foresters from IPB.
Also present were national guides from the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa). UNESA Director of Student and Alumni Affairs Dr. Muhamad Sholeh, M.Pd., in his speech said that this activity was intended to foster students' leadership spirit.
"From the start I wanted to increase student activities. Through this LKMM-TL we hope that younger students can take part "This activity is done wholeheartedly. This activity is important, to foster students' leadership spirit," he said.
In this activity there is several material given to students, starting from the History of National Struggle, Nationalism and Globalization, to material about Indonesia's development in the fields of Democracy, Social and Economics.
Apart from that, the participants also practiced, discussed, reviewed and analyzed the Periscope Matrix and Development Challenges, Elaboration of Discourse Management and Discourse Integration, Discourse Maps and Discourse Management, Exercises in Discourse Analysis, Interconnection of Opportunities, and Identification of Development Opportunities.
