Professional or Entrepreneur?
He explained that the world of work in Indonesia is divided into two, namely professionals and entrepreneurs. Professionals are more focused on working, having a career and filling job vacancies, while entrepreneurs are focused on starting a business, doing business and creating job vacancies. "Whatever we want, we must be serious in making it happen," he said.
For those who choose the path of entrepreneurship, the first challenge they face is how to get started. He shares tips on starting a business; first, discussions with friends or anyone who has been in the business world; second, start from things that are mastered or understood; third, start small and adjust to the existing resource conditions; four, the way (action) do not fantasize a lot. "At first it tasted bitter, but if you do it, the results are sweet," he explained.
There is a way for every obstacle
In starting a business, obstacles and obstacles are common. Therefore, business people or entrepreneurs must have; 1) a strong and stable mentality; 2) ideas and plans with strong expectations; 3) the ideas and plans are then translated into action. In acting, there are many who experience obstacles, especially in determining the type of business.
He explained, early in business ask the following questions; 1) start with the customer and what they need; 2) find out if anyone has already had a business as planned; 3) what are the advantages and disadvantages of the product or service. 4) is it a competent friend or relative? invite and collaborate.
Determine the Basic Idea So that the Business Takes Root
An entrepreneur must be able to determine the basic idea. Furthermore, it must provide added value with the SCAMPER strategy. The strategies in question are; Subtitute or substitute, Combine or combination, Adapt or adapt, Modify or modify, Put to Another Use or use another function, Eliminate or eliminate, and Reverse or reverse. Next is to practice.
"In practice, there are important points that need to be answered; targeting who? Competing with whom? Making what?" he explained. After finding the idea, then it is lowered to the plan. Early on, you need to think about the business plan, the details, to the budget and schedule.
No business fails
After the idea is found and the plan is determined, the next step is to implement it. In this stage, you can use the 21-day formula, which is intended to: 1) Build, such as making proposals, etc., to building the business. 2) Execution while studying whether the product is suitable for sale, etc., but not only to the closest people, but to other people as well. 3) Evaluation, from the previous objectives can be evaluated in order to find out the shortcomings. Then after up to 7 days, it can be determined, the business is continued or executed again, because according to him there is no failed business. "Zemua depends on us who react to it, what is there is how we make decisions from the situation," he explained. (UNESA PR)
