Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Around 100 students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Kediri visited the State University of Surabaya (UNESA) on Monday, June 6, 2022. They arrived at the Rector's Lobby, Lidah Wetan Campus at around 10.30 WIB, which were then directed to the 11th Floor Auditorium, Rectorate Building Wetan Tongue Campus, Surabaya.
The head of MAN 2 Kediri, Murwono, S.Pd., M.Pd., and the Deputy Head of Student Affairs, M. Istajib, S.Pd., M.Pd., who immediately accompanied the students. The group was welcomed by members of the UNESA Admissions Unit, Dr. Sukarmin, M.Pd., as chairman, Awang Dharmawan, S.I.Kom., M.A., as Head of the New Student Admissions Division, UNESA Admissions Unit and Ainur Rifqi, S.Pd., M.Pd., as Secretary of the New Student Admissions Division together with Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A., as the Head of UNESA Public Relations Unit.
The meeting was opened with remarks from the Head of the Admissions Unit. Sukarmin stated that UNESA was very grateful for the arrival of MAN 2 Kediri. In addition, he also said that this visit could create a harmonious relationship between UNESA and MAN 2 Kediri.

Meanwhile, the Head of MAN 2 Kediri said that the purpose and objective of the visit was for students to see firsthand the condition of the UNESA campus and get information related to study programs and admission routes and conditions. "So that these students can imitate the madrasa principal, study at UNESA and become UNESA alumni," he said.
Sukarmin explained that as usual, UNESA has three routes for new student admissions. There is the SNMPTN route and the recently implemented SBMPTN (UTBK). Then there is a third path, namely SPMB or the independent path.
For SPMB registration, UNESA has several achievement paths. There are religious achievement paths, sports, arts and leadership. “For those of you who have achievements in these fields, they can register on the independent path. Those who have not graduated, can prepare themselves from now on, achieve achievements and study diligently," said the FMIPA lecturer.
The enthusiasm of the students of MAN 2 Kediri was seen during the visit. In the discussion session, one by one they asked about many things about UNESA. In general, the questions asked are about achievements or what certificate requirements are required for registration.
