Unesa.ac.id, JAKARTA-In giving birth to many innovations in both services and education, collaboration must continue to be improved. That is what the UNESA Public Relations UPT did, after leaving IPB, the UNESA group continued a working visit to the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Public Relations and Public Information Office on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
The visit was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation of UNJ, Dr. Totok Bintoro, M.Pd., and Head of Public Relations and Public Information Office, Heryanti utami, M.M.Par., and their staff on the Eighth Floor of the Syafi'i Building, UNJ.
Dr. Totok Bintoro, said that as a former IKIP university, UNESA and UNJ have a close relationship, both institutionally and personally. He himself, he continued, often collaborates with the UNESA academic community. He even taught in one of the UNESA programs. "We are brothers, we need to collaborate to improve quality and innovation both at UNESA and at UNJ," he said.
He added that the task of public relations is quite challenging, in addition to building internal communication but also building a good image and service to the public. "How about branding identity. It depends on public relations. UNJ's public relations must be a storefront and window of information for both units and the public," he said. "Thank you for this visit, we can learn together and discuss in improving the quality of education and services of the two institutions, especially UNJ and UNESA together towards PTNBH," he said.
Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A.. as the head of UPT Humas Unesa, brought 25 people who were ready to learn about public relations and public service units, both in terms of information, social media PPID, and ULT. During this visit, Unesa Public Relations visited to learn together about the dynamics of public relations in today's university environment.
In her speech, Vinda Maya Setianingrum also expressed her gratitude for the welcome given by UNJ. "We want to further improve Unesa's branding to be even more prominent, I think our task as public relations is getting tougher, and we want to learn more from UNJ," he explained. According to him, the change in prospective students' views in viewing Unesa is not only a university that produces many teachers, but also as a university that is able to give birth to new generations of quality from many fields.
Vinda Maya herself hopes that from this visit Unesa Public Relations can gain experience and learn new knowledge from UNJ, and can support innovation and progress of UNESA Public Relations UPT in the future. (Unesa Public Relations)
