Starting from the staff, lecturers, deans, to professors.
“And now, we must be patient and patient for the departure of all of our brothers and friends, Dr. Totok Suyanto, M.Pd," he said. Sujarwanto continued, Totok Suyanto is a kind and humorous person. He once served as the head of the PPKn department and later received the mandate as the Dean of FISH UNESA. During his tenure, there were many deep impressions that his colleagues could not forget.
He is a person who is friendly, humorous, and easy to get along with colleagues of all ages. His unforgettable habit is that every morning, he regularly drinks coffee while reading the newspaper and joking with his co-workers. He is also a figure who always motivates young lecturers to continue to learn and be the best on campus and off campus. “Keep studying. Learning has to go here and there. If we don't study, we will be lost (it will be nothing or not useful, ed),” is a message that is often said to his fellow lecturers.
On another occasion, Dr. Wahono Widodo, M.Sc., expressed his impressions while getting to know Totok Suyanto. For him, Pak Totok (as he is called) is a kind and detailed person in many ways. Good at discussing issues from various points of view and good at linking the discussion to aspects of the lessons of life. “Everything was delivered casually and while laughing together. That was him," he recalls.
Although different faculties, he often meets and is involved in one program with Mr. Totok. However, during the pandemic, he rarely met face to face. He continued that he had been battling his blood sugar for a long time. "He is a good person, as long as Mr. Totok is walking, I hope you are husnul khatimah," he said. [UNESA PR]
