Unesa.ac.id, SURABAYA-Online learning is an option in responding to educational needs during a pandemic. The acceleration of the use of technology in the world of education has also occurred massively.
At this stage, educators are required to be adaptive and innovative in producing interesting online learning. To help teachers maximize online learning, the UNESA PKM-PM student team held online learning training for teachers in Sidoarjo.
The activity that received central funding was entitled "Utilizing Glideapps in E-Learning Learning at MI Ma'arif Sambiroto Taman Sidoarjo". The training was held on 17-16 July 2021.
The training participants are educators who teach from grade one to grade six. The activity is carried out in a hybrid manner, namely by means of face-to-face while still implementing health protocols and is carried out online.
The activity began with a speech from the principal of MI Ma'Arif Sambiroto. In his opening remarks, the principal hopes that this activity can provide positive results for educators and students in the future and can be useful for learning activities.
In the process, educators are given training on making applications through Glideapps. Educators are very enthusiastic in participating in the training. Educators can make applications both from the appearance and content of the application according to the wishes of the educator. Glideapps itself can facilitate educators in online learning during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
One of the organizing students said that this training aims to improve the knowledge and skills of educators in implementing application-based E-Learning learning. So that online learning carried out by educators and students will be much more effective and efficient.
With this training, the UNESA PKM Team hopes that educators can make maximum use of technology, especially in online learning. Educators are expected to be able to apply learning in accordance with the needs of students and current technological developments so that learning activities run smoothly. (Unesa Public Relations)
