Unesa.ac.id., PONOROGO—Surabaya State University (UNESA) continues to socialize the Magetan Campus to the people of Ponorogo Regency at SMA Negeri 1 Ponorogo on Friday, 20 October 2023. This socialization was attended by student and teacher representatives from 30 high schools/ equivalent throughout Ponorogo.
This socialization was attended by Prof. Dr. Sarmini, M.Hum, Director of Campuses Outside the Main Campus. He said technological advances were driving massive transformation in the world of education. Even with the world of lectures which is not like before, you have to go out of town or region and that requires quite a lot of money.
Because of financial requirements, many of the best sons and daughters of the region cannot go to college. "Because of that, we are enthusiastic about opening the Magetan Campus to open up college opportunities for the best sons and daughters of Magetan and its surroundings. To study you don't have to go all the way to Surabaya, but you can study in Magetan," he said.
Head of the Public Information Section , Muhammad Ariffudin Islam, M.Sn., and Gilang Gusti Aji, S.I.P., M.Si. as Head of the Public Relations Section of the UNESA Directorate of Public Relations and Public Information was also present. This event aims to provide information about what study programs are available at the UNESA Magetan Campus, registration procedures, facilities and other information regarding the Magetan campus.
Gilang Gusti Aji explains the opportunities you will get if you study on campus Magetan and the registration process. Regarding the available programs, they consist of seven study programs from six faculties.
The study programs in question are as follows; Bachelor of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB); Undergraduate Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program, Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences (FIKK).
Furthermore, Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program, and Bachelor of Law Study Program, Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences (FISH); Mathematics Education Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA); Bachelor of Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education (FIP); and the English Literature Undergraduate Study Program from the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS).
“God willing, in 2024, the UNESA Magetan Campus will have its infrastructure ready and equipped with the infrastructure. "By studying, your opportunities to explore the world will also be greater," he said. []
