Unesa.ac.id, Surabaya – The State University of Surabaya received a working visit from the University of Jember at the Rector of Unesa Lidah Wetan on Friday (28/5/2021). During the visit, the University of Jember intended to receive information and assistance on the management of public service agencies and personnel management, finance, service fees, and remuneration.
This is a follow-up to the transition of the status of the University of Jember from a Work Unit (Satker) to a Public Service Agency (BLU). During the visit, the University of Jember was represented by Dr. Drg. Sri Hernawati, M.Kes Deputy Rector II, Agus Maryono, S.H as Head of Bureau II and its staff. Meanwhile, from Unesa, attended Suprapto, S.Pd., M.T. as Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd. as Deputy Chancellor for Planning and Cooperation, Head of BUK, Head of BAKPK and other ranks.
Unesa welcomed the visit and fully supported universities, one of which was the University of Jember which transformed from Satker to BLU, both in the form of sharing university governance and even in the form of mentoring.
On that occasion, the Unesa team shared a lot of information about BLU. BLU is an institution whose management is almost the same as state-owned hospitals. Where all non-tax revenues are managed and reported to the state. Therefore, the financial and personnel governance system must be neat, fast, transparent and effective.
Sujarwanto said that Unesa is happy to support Jember University. He hopes that through this meeting it can strengthen friendship and strengthen cooperation between universities so that later together they can produce quality young generations. (Hasna)
