Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) received the award as the third best public relations of Public Service Agency (PTN-BLU) from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia on the second floor of Building D kemendikbud, Jakarta on Tuesday (26/1).
The award was received directly by The Head of Public Relations Unesa Vinda Maya Setianingrum, S.Sos., M.A. representing Unesa. The charter was submitted by the Head of Public Communication, Bureau of Cooperation and Public Communication of the Ministry of Education, Yayat Hendrayana, S.S., M.Si.
The best College Public Relations was announced online on the eve of the Dikti Public Relations Award, December 23, 2020. There are hundreds of participants for all categories participating in the annual event. Both from State Universities Legal Entities (PTN BH), State Universities Public Service Agency (PTN BLU), Higher Education Work Units (PTN SATKER), as well as from Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDIKTI).
There are several categories that are contested, ranging from pages, social media, press conferences and press releases, magazines, and the most popular public relations people. In addition, there is also a category of public service complaints in reporting applications and LLDIKTI with the best cooperation reporting performance.
Of all these categories, for the first time since the Dikti Public Relations Award in 2017, Unesa managed to place third best for the category of press conferences and press releases. Rector Prof. Dr. Nurhasan, M.Kes. said that the award is a national scale achievement and proud for Unesa.
"This achievement, we make the motivation to continue to be better in the performance of strengthening the image of Unesa and conveying good information, in a good way to the community, whether it is national or international scale," said the man who is usually called Cak Hasan.
Director General of Higher Education, Kemdikbud Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC, Ph.D on the night of the awarding expressed his gratitude to the participants who had contributed. Also, to public relations who have collaborated with the media in disseminating higher education information to the public.
"Universities should be inspired for the community, brighten people's lives and empower the community," he said. " Ruas lengkuas harumkan belanga, masakan rendang gulainya ikan.
